And it came out on streaming a few months into the pandemic, so it felt like a welcome diversion\u00a0during a difficult time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Four years later, \u201cMy Spy The Eternal City\u201d\u00a0arrives,\u00a0and it takes this playful story in a strangely darker direction. It\u2019s\u00a0hard\u00a0to tell who this movie is for: It\u2019s too silly\u00a0for adults, yet\u00a0way too grown up for kids.\u00a0The sequel from director Pete Segal, who co-wrote the script this time with returning writers\u00a0Erich and Jon Hoeber,\u00a0is more violent and features some shocking sexual humor.
